Church History Tour June 2012

On our way to Buffalo, NY where we will start an amazing trip combining a lot of the church history sites.  Lillian and Polly got to sit with Brett Woolley who is great and visited with them almost the whole time.

We were so happy that we go to go again this year.  This is our 3rd year to help with the group, and we have also been able to go with each one of our kids.  What an incredible experience to share with each of our kids.

We also got to go with cousins, Daynen, Reaygan, and Hannah, with Polly, Lillian and Scott in front  of the Palmarya temple.

The walk back from the temple to the Palmyra Inn we got to walk by this really huge and Awesome church house.  Scott loves it when the kids ask questions.

At the Palmyra Inn.  Hannah was in the shower.

Polly and Lillian.  Palmyra Inn

This is the Joseph Smith Log Home just in front of the Sacred Grove.

I love the story of why there are no trees binding the view between the temple and the Sacred Grove.  Pres.  Hinckley was at the temple site and he said, "can we cut these trees, it would be really nice to be able to see he Sacred Grove from here?"  He was told "no"  and he said something like, "ok, well see what can be done" and those trees died.

On the trail between the log home and the frame home.  Lillian was in the other group.

I love this, it's a view from the Log Cabin out to the Sacred Grove.

Inside the Log Cabin with the old family bible turned to .....

Upstairs in the Log Home where Moroni visited Joseph Smith.

Listening to Brett give us a spirtual thought and song before we enter the Grove

WE GOT PICTURES!!!! June 2012

CENTENARIO JUNE 2012 WITH ELDER GOMEZ

This is one of my very favorite pictures.  Dallin was going to a near by town to make some visits and he borrowed a bike to do it.

This is in June, our summer His winter.  He is wearing the scarf that DeWitt made him.

I'm thinking that this is right our of his apartment

I like seeing his working area, keeps me connected.

Yep, I like everything about this picture.  Of course Dallin, but I also like a sneak peak into his life right behind him.

I'm thinking that this is the front of his living area.

not sure?

I'm thinking that this is somewhere around his apartment.

Yep, love it!

Elder Evans, Elder Gomez, The Abuela and her family.  I fell in love with her through Dallin's letters.  I even wrote her a letter that Dallin translated.

Some sort of ward get together. Dallin says that they are very proud of their country, so notice the Argentina flags.

I put this one in again, because I loved it so much!!!
