October 2012

Yeah for Skype!!!  I love being able to see our kids via the computer.  Allison is in Rexburg, ID going to BYUI.  She is loving it so far and seems very happy.

Well.....2 boys going to Argentina, means 2 flags for this family!!!
2 boys serving in Argentina mens this really cool Argentina wall!!!  The clock is always set on Argentina time, which is 4 hours ahead of us.

Polly and Lillian working on their fair food.

Packaging up all of the goods and getting ready to take it all to the fairgrounds.

Success!!!  Polly's paintings....I see 4 in this picture, all got blue ribbons.

Success for the Lilly bug.  One of her pictures here at the bottom, sporting a blue ribbon.

Polly showing the proud papa her goods.

Yes the proud mama

The girls showing their wares.

Wow, a ton of ribbons.  The girls are funny they walk through the fair counting up all of the money that they made.  So these ribbons really represent money to them.

Ahh time for insulation again.  DeWitt the pro.  He had to go to school, so I came to take over.  He was very good at showing me exactly what I needed to do.

Scott, the guy in the attic!!

Ahhh, here's the mama!

Polly, still wanting to be a kid, trick or treats with the Alders.  Rylie and Lillian went trunk or treat hopping and then they played fugitive with a bunch of friends.

DeWitt and the Papa trying to get in on some of the action.  You see Polly's red eyes?  I don't know if I would go up against that!!

Scott has been the electrician's 1st assisstant through the whole 517 apartment project.  He is a happy person right now, because everything is working just how it should.  He also wired the oven plug and the dryer plug and the lights and well everything.  The electrician came by to answer his questions and tell him good job.  Scott loves to learn, and he really is learning everything he needs to build an apartment from the ground up.

Rebecca the electrician's 1st assisstant's, assisstant.  I got to screw on the plates over the outlets.  I felt so important and really tried to do a good job

Here we are the CEO and the assisstant.  We've both been listening to the Book of Mormon while we work.  Scott listens in Spanish, I'm good to understand it in English.  Sure do love it though.

Polly had basketball tryouts this week.  She works so hard at everything, and she really works hard at basketball.  She has this white board that she writes down goals and to do lists and random things that she needs to remember.  I thought it was so cute that this is what was on her board, the day she found out that she made it through 4 rounds of cuts and made the actual 8th grade team!!  She is so far beyond happy, and we are happy for her.  Good job Polly.
