Christmas Day 2012

Ahh, Polly the baby gets to come down the stairs first to see what Santa brought.  It's very dark right now, but the flash made it seem bright.  Have fun Polly

Checking out the goods.

Lilly bug is next...

This is one of the favorite stops....The Santa letters, and the candy table.

Oh, DeWitt, looking all gruff, you're just a teddy bear, and you know that you're excited!!!

Yep, one of the favorite stops!

Dang, it's a bit blurry.  Allison knows that she is last and she is ok with that, because she "lingers longer"  Everyone else wants to hurry back up to make it all go faster, but Allison takes her own sweet time.

I really wanted to capture this moment, because she was LaUgHiNg so hard at what Santa said in his letters.  She likes to read them all.  He was saying stuff about JFK and the stinken Federal Reserve.

Yeah, they finally get to all come down.  Lillian is behind DeWitt.  It's still dark.

Now they start "nesting"  Scott loves this part, where they gather all of their stuff, that's hidden all over and they make their own piles.

Lillian trying out her new camera!!

Polly giving Allison a tour of her things.

The mama and the papa, enjoying this perfect morning.

Just relaxing and looking through all of the gifts.

Christmas breakfast...French toast, buttermilk syrup, eggs, bacon, hash browns, juices and good company.

Grandpa and Grandma Susan came for a visit to see everything that the kids got.

Almost every picture I have of Grandma Susan she is taking a picture.
Joel gave dad  tractor, so we gave dad a tractor shirt to wear while he is driving it.

The traditional bow and arrow shootout.

haha, dad is protecting his eyes

Lillian took this picture with her new camera, and I had to post it, because it is so cute.

Our blessed Christmas call from our very own Elder Evans

We could see Dallin the whole time, but we couldn't leave our video on, because it messed up the voice interaction.  We talked for about 1 hour and 1/2.  Loved it all.

We all wore our Argentina shirts so that we could visit with our Argentina boy.

Cute Lilly, the mama couldn't stop crying!!

We are all together in this moment and so very happy.

So happy

Love you Dallin.  He had a hard time coming up with some English words.

I told him to smile so that I could take a picture.

Dad was leaning forward cause they were in they were having a conversation.

Noooo, I don't want to say goodbye!!!  I do love the kiss that he's blowing!!

This is the sad/interesting part!  Dallin's companion came in and said something to him and so we said final goodbye.  Dallin got teary, and was covering his eyes and then whipping them.  Then he got up, like he is in this picture, he left his camera on so we got to watch him open his cubical door and then he went to the payment desk, pulled out his wallet and payed the nice Argentine lady, and then it ended.  It was bitter sweet.  I felt like I was spying on him, but I was so happy to do so..  We all sighed and couldn't leave our area for a little bit.  It was such a good day.  I love Christmas  and everything about it!!!
