Dallin has an insane buckett list. One of the things on his list was to get pepper sprayed in the face....check. Another one was to go skydiving....check....Isn't crazy such an appropriate word for this boy? So for Christmas Dallin gave Scott the gift of skydiving. Scott was nervous, but excited. So on January 1, 2011 Dallin and Scott jumped out of a duct taped airplane. Scott said that he felt safer falling out of the air than he did flying in the plane:-) We really had no idea what to expect, but when we drove up to the Casa Grande airport I think nerves were a bit high. Dallin and Scott to about a 3 1/2 minute course, and then proceeded to the airplane. They took off, and we drove to the landing site, about 5 minutes away. It wasn't long before the plane started to circle and then we could see 2 tiny blobs in the sky. It got really exciting when the parachutes opened and we could see them more clearly. Dallin was a little bit more adventurous in the sky, and Scott enjoyed a smoother ride down. Dallin was harnesed to the boss, and they overshot the drop zone by about 10 feet, and Scott was strapped to a different guy and they hit perfect. Dallin landed standing up, and Scott came in nice and easy on his bum. His guy, told him to hold his feet up as high as he could. It was so funny, we had a great laugh! The best part was when both of them were up again, they walked to eachother and hugged. Hugh, I love these people.
