New Goal!!

One of my goals for 2011 is to start a blog.  I have never really been very interested, but several things of changed my mind.  The first is that I love taking pictures, but I'm horrible at organizing them, and now with the digital era, I'm not sure the best way to display and keep them for my family.  My mom keeps a blog and my sisters and I gave her a blog book.  A printed version of her blog.  I loved it.  I love to keep and journal, so this seems to be the best of both worlds.  So here goes my new blog.  Enjoy the ride, it's life as we know it. Polly and Lillian helped me come up with the name, and Lillian set up this blog for me.  I love it when my kids are so very smart and cute and crafty.

I love January!  First reason is that I married the most marvelous man in the universe!  We got married on January 7, 1989.  This year of 2011 marks our 22nd year of love, joy, bliss and sweet companionship.  Life isn't perfect, but it's pretty darn close.  I love my life and I love Scott.  We had a romantic dinner in our liabrary.  We ordered Tony's Kitchen pizza and salad, and to top it off, we had a fire going in the pelet stove.  All of the kids were at Grandma and Grandpa's house for Shad's birthday party, so we had the house to ourselves.


Earlier that morning Scott and I were trying to decide what to do for our special day, and so his suggestion was for each of us to write down 3 things we wanted to do, and then to draw out of a hat.  So one thing we drew out was to go shotgun shooting.  The boys weren't able to come and Allison was still in Alamagordo with Grant, and so we took Lillian and Polly.  Oh we had a good time.  I had forgotten to take my camera, so we got after photos.
