January 2014

Dallin brought a friend home from Buena Vista.  Her name is Sara Carter, she is
a very sweet girl.  We were so excited to take her to Pizza Hut, because to us
it's like a big deal, party status.  We weren't really thinking, because to her, it
would be like us going back east and her taking us to Taco Bell to show off the Mexican
Food.  haha it's actually funny.

Sara was nice, but she sure didn't like shooting guns at all.
Mama's turn.  I sure don't like the kicking sort of guns, but this one wasn't so bad.
Dallin is the official skeet shooter for the papi.
Lillian's turn throwing.  She did an amazing job.
Dallin and Sara.  Dallin is rocking the redneck ear plugs.
Lillian showing her rugged side.

Polly, being a gun slinging girl!
Dad showing Polly how to look down the sight.

Now dad's turn to be the skeet shooter.

haha this one is actually kind of funny,  look where the clay pigeon is and look where
Lillian's gun is.
That's better Lil
I actually love shooting the pistol the best.  I feel like I belong in an old Western
shoot out.
I must say, that I hit that disc!  That must go down in history.

Does this make the mama's heart soar?  Oh yes it does.  I love how the kids love
each other so much, and really how they just like to hang out!

Lillian's face that she would give if she were actually in a Western Shootout!

Awe, what a cute couple!  The papa and the mama

Dad, like he usually does, made a competition out of our shooting.  Now this gun
is a real kicker.  So he said, "whoever shoots the target gets $10.00"  Polly and
Dallin totally shot it.  I got up to shoot, and I said, "I'll shoot and I'll hit it, and I want
$100!"  Scott laughed!  and said "$50", and I said "Deal"  I really hate shooting kicker
guns, but I wanted that $50.  So I got down on my knee and looked
down the sight, slowly pulled the trigger
just like Scott instructed, and I hit it!!  Scott was such a proud husband!!

We went a saw Brave the new Disney Film.  It is so good, and really should go
 down in history.
I told these kiddos that I wanted to get a cute picture of them, so Dallin grabbed
the Russian hat that Jordan brought home for dad.  It actually made the
picture fun.

Lillian and Savannah, are here with Callie Wellbrook.  She has been taking the missionary
lessons at our house, and decided to be baptized.  We have been so lucky to
get to know her.

We had the grandparents over for dinner so that they could meet Sara.
Polly was having a sick day, hence the "sick bun"
This is Scott's new apartment project.  We're just starting the foundation.
Scott pours one apartment at a time.

I love having Dallin around, to work with his daddy.  I just love our kiddos

Dallin is showing Sara, about the authentic Argentina way to Asado.

Dallin and Sara came to watch one of Polly's varsity basket ball game.
It's blurry, but Polly is the one with the basket ball.

Taylor was messing around and playing with Allison's headband.  So cute.

Allison, is adjusting to her new life, as a wife/ not student.  She actually had
to get a "spouse card" to be able to exercise on campus of BYU-I
Looking out Taylor and Allison's front door.
