Sooo Many Pictures For January!!

a lot of fun!!  It must of been some sort of color war.  From what I can tell
SVU does a lot of really great activities for their students.

We took Dallin to the airport January 9th to fly back to SVU.  I just really hate having my kids leave me,
but I am also very excited that they are so ambitious and they have real desires to be good, strong citizens of ourcommunity and of our great country. So anyway, Dallin wanted to stop by ASU to see the campus and have his dad walk him around his Alma mater.   We had a lot of fun, reminiscing and being hopeful that Dallin might come back here for architecture school.  

It is appropriate that I get into a picture for two reasons, first, I was a big part of this school even though I didn't actually attend.  My husband did, and so since we do things as a together, I feel a deep kinship with ASU as well.  Second, January 7th was our 25th anniversary, so when we dropped Dallin off, we were ready to celebrate and party!!

This is Sunday, we went to church in Phoenix, that Scott actually worked at when we were newly married.  It was a rich sort of ward, it was fun to see how the church is the same anywhere you go.  I sure to love this gospel.

We are getting ready hike Camel Back Mountain in Phoenix.  I had no idea at this point what we were really getting into.  It was a much harder hike than I thought.

We got to stop by and visit with grandpa and grandma Hiatt.  I was so grateful that we did.  I kept reminding grandpa, since he is a bit forgetful now, that I was his favorite.  At first he didn't believe me, but after a little encouragement he started to agree.

They say they need my help with the concrete.  I really don't think so  I think Scott just likes my company.  So I decided to be the photographer with Concrete boots on.  Then at least I can act like I'm there for the concrete pour.  This is an exciting part of the building.  Scott pours each of the four apartments on separate days, on separate pours.

Rachel's family came to one of Polly's varsity basket ball games.  Thanks guys, it was fun having you there.

So much snow, that they cancelled church.  Not really so much snow, but they did cancel church for just
this much!!  Oh goodness, what would they ever do in Idaho.

Dallin made this plaque for Taylor and Allison for their Christmas present.
He finished all of it before he left, except for the spraying.  So dad sprayed it and
I sent it t them.

With every movie, Scott puts on Spanish subtitles.  He will watch anything we want to watch as
long as it has subtitles.  So we watched Despicable Me 2 in the middle of the day no less

Now we'll have a tour of Taylor and Allison's apartment.  Too bad that she didn't take any of
herself, but this is nice too.

This beautiful cedar tree, has gone and died.  We all have been so sad, and we've tried to revive it,
but to no avail, so this will be the last picture of this tree standing.

This is Polly's last home Varsity game.  Jordan Hunt has been really great about supporting her

This is Lillian's last day of working at El Charro.  We had to go and let her serve us for the last time.  We have
been so proud of her, she has had a good run and now it's time for tennis.

I needed an exercise, and I really wanted to hike, and Scott totally came with me.  What a great husband
he is.  We had such a nice time.  It was just behind Discovery Park.

Lillian has been getting dad out on the court so that she can be ready for
this up coming tennis season.  She is doing so good and dad is
so "proud"

This picture actually came off of the SVU site.  They know a good looking kids when they see one.  Dallin
was at an Art show.  He actually has a piece in it as well.
