Lillian has Mono among other illnesses!!

The end of Lillian's sophomore year proved to be challenging.  She finished her State Tennis, and did a great job.  She started to feel a bit sick, sore throat, not very much energy.  Finally after her fever spiked I checked her throat and it was filled with white stuff.  I took her to the Doctor and prescribed an antibiotic.  I immediately got it filled and assured Lillian that she would be feeling better in the morning.  The morning came and she felt worse.  The next day she felt worse.  It was Friday so I called the Doctor and they said that it takes time for the medicine to work, so if she wasn't better by Monday to bring her back in.  She was much worse on Saturday, so I took her to a different Doctor, Dr. Smith.  He said that she had one of the worst cases of strep throat that he had ever seen.  He prescribed her a stronger medicine.  I took it to all of the pharmacies in town and no one carried this particular medicine, because it was so strong, they don't usually see somebody this sick.  So finally we found it at Wal-Mart.  We gave it to her over the weekend and she wasn't getting better.  Her fever kept spiking to 104 degrees and that made me nervous.  Scott gave Lillian a beautiful Priesthood Blessing.  It comforted us both.  My parents also went through this whole ordeal, because I kept calling with all of my worries.  Finally Monday morning came and I called Dr. Smith at home.  I was crying which I'm sure helped my case.  He had the day off so he
